NASA EOSDIS STATEMENT OF CAPABILITIES

Our core expertise is well suited to programs offered by NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS).

The specific areas in which SSCI has been assisting NASA, GSFC:

Provide Development Support for the EOSDIS, perform design, development, test and implementation activities for new components. Some of the supported languages: [Perl, C/C++, Java, Sybase and Oracle].

Provide Operations Support for the EOSDIS. Training of operations and related skilled personnel on the maintenance and operation of the EOSDIS, use of operational and diagnostic tools and procedures, development of procedures to accommodate upgrades or enhancements, on-site engineering support at the GSFC DAAC, system testing.

Provide Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of the EOSDIS custom and COTS software .

Information System Engineering for Real time and Non-Real time Systems – System requirement analysis, trade analysis, management consulting, system architecture and interface design, and performance estimation .

Testing of custom software systems, such as ECS, EMD and Remote Data Storage (RDS).

Staffing services, provide experienced staff, to perform daily DAAC operations, custom code writing and testing.
